**Project Manager - Group Pensions**
**Central London (3 days on site)**
**6 months initial contract**
**£500 per day inside IR35**
One of IT Bods leading clients is urgently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager with a background in pensions and or finance projects.
This will include working with functions to define existing processes and identify areas for improvement to deliver automation and efficiency and making recommendations to the management team.
**Role responsibilities**
- To manage and effectively deliver strategic and legislative change for the group pensions in the UK and Ireland.
- Responsible for IT, Finance, HR, Actuarial and Legal. Encouraging and developing good group working relationships of advisors and providers to deliver on project solutions for the business
- Close management and development of in-house team and processes.
- Scoping and managing pension projects to successful deliver reports to the management team.
- Thinking complexity, ability to translate legislative and company policy together with best practice and assess the impact to pension strategy and operations.
- Ensure projects are managed in accordance with the IS Governance Framework.
- Maintain and provide weekly reporting on all project plans, including the departments annual plan of business as usual and project activities.
- Manage the writing of system specifications based on user requirements. Liaise with internal staff and suppliers regarding the development of specifications to ensure user requirements are met.
- Lead and manage the commissioning, testing and implementation of process / system changes.
- Co-ordinate software deliveries/installations in accordance with departmental needs to minimise disruption to day-to-day operations.
- Challenging internal and external providers and developing software solutions to deliver process change.
- Manage the preparation of acceptance test plans and test systems against plans to ensure original specifications are met, identify, and resolve any problems
- Work with the systems team and system suppliers to configure system features, functionality and reporting to meet user requirements.
**To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience**
- Ideally PRINCEII or similar qualified
- ACCA Qualified
- Significant experience of systems and process development and implementation, ideally in a finance or pensions role
- High level of interpersonal skills enabling strong working relationships to be developed and maintained.
- High level of organisational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, senior stakeholder management
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to effectively communicate to all levels within the department and across the Group when required.
