Lynx Dry Cleaning Supplies provide a vast array of ever-growing product lines to the Laundry, Dry Cleaning & Bridal industry.

Due to our continuing growth, we have a full-time vacancy for a Buying Assistant. You will play a key role in providing effective & efficient support in our Buying department.

**Buying Assistant / Admin**

**Requirements**:

- Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to use initiative are essential.
- Comfortable in a fast paced and detail-orientated role.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Good at building relationships with people at all levels, internally and externally.
- 2 years minimum buying experience.
- Great communication skills, telephone manner and customer service
- Driving licence due to remote location, onsite parking available
- Attention to detail
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Quick learner and works well in a team
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Sage would be an advantage
- Strong numerical skills and ability to analyse data

**Buying Assistant duties will include**:

- Raising purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments in a professional and

appropriate manner
- Chasing up deliveries
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and likely future stock requirements
- Accurately calculate stock requirements and compile orders
- Creating product codes
- Checking data accuracy in orders and pro-forma invoices
- Providing full administrative support to the head buyer
- Working along side our warehouse to make sure stock levels are correct

**Admin Duties**:

- Matching delivery notes to invoices
- Entering invoices
- Checking statements
- Answering calls
- Chasing deliveries
- Doing some stock checks

Role is based in Hainault Essex. Hours Mon
- Friday 9am-5pm. Salary dependant on experience starting from £23,000.
