**Fixed-term contract until 31st March 2024**:

- **£12,328.74 per annum (pro-rata from £24,657.48 FTE)**:

- **4% salary rise upon successful completion of probation**

Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse. We are looking to recruit two Hospital IDVA’s (one full-time, one part-time) in partnership with Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, to provide high-quality frontline support. They will work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework to establish a multi-agency response to domestic abuse consisting of, amongst others: the MARAC partners, Stockport Community Safety Partnership, Children and Adult Safeguarding Services, and other local partners and community projects.

**Main purpose of the post**:

- Deliver a proactive service to those at high
- and medium
- risk by meeting their identified needs, and provide risk management and safety planning to victims of domestic abuse.
- Develop and provide education sessions, consultancy and support to other front-line teams within the multi-agency framework, in collaboration with clinical teams within the Trust.
- Support the empowerment of the patient and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their personal situation, and support them to regain control of their lives.
