**Salary**:£19,203.60

**Hours of work**: 30 hours per week, although flexibility will be

considered. The postholder will be required to travel

to deliver this work and to work flexibly around the

client’s needs and often with limited notice. There

may also be occasional evening work.

The role includes:

- Providing emotional support
- Giving accurate and tailored information about the Criminal Justice System, and supporting survivors through the process from reporting to trial
- Pre-trial support
- Liaising with other services (i.e. housing, social services, health, and mental health support) on behalf of the client
- Facilitating access to other agencies or support services
- Providing information about compensation schemes
- Assessing and managing risk
- Reporting to the Fundraising Manager to aid in fundraising bids

Advocacy experience, experience working directly with clients and the ability to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the client are essential, as is access to own transport. A UKCP Level 3 or above in Counselling is desirable.

Working in a small team to support survivors of sexual violence, you’ll have the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally, contributing to an organisation that makes a tangible difference to people’s lives.

Northamptonshire Rape Crisis is at a significant time of change and growth and you will work with the wider NRC team to ensure alignment and cohesion across all our services and activities.
