Coherent Solutions is seeking a full-time, experienced nursery assistant to join our client's rapidly growing nursery in Vauxhall, this role is based in the Baby Room with immediate start available.

The Nursery welcomes children aged between 3 months and 5 years old and is open 49 weeks a year from **8am to 6pm**.

The Nursery is located in a desirable new development and offers a bright, open plan space for children to learn and develop. Plenty of outdoor space is offered within the immediate vicinity: ideally located near parks, playground and a farm. The nursery also benefits from easy access to bus/train/tube station.

**Option of working hours: 36 hours, 40 hours or 45 hours**

**Your role will include**:

- Supervise and interact with children, ensuring their safety at all times
- Engage with children in learning and play activities, encouraging EYFS development
- Facilitate indoor and outdoor play activities to promote positive wellbeing.
- Support the team with essential daily tasks i.e. room preparation & hygiene standards
- Follow safeguarding polices in line with the EYFS to ensure child welfare & protection
- Help to ensure a safe, secure and fun environment for all children

**What you will need**:

- Unqualified Nursery Assistants a minimum of 12 months Early Years nursery setting experience
- An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems
- An understanding of planning, observing and record-keeping procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Must have a hands on, positive approach to working within a team

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexitime
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
