**Job description**:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an HR/Advisory background to work in Human Resources.

This role is within the HR Transactional Service Team, responsible for providing professional administrative and transactional support to the business. The role is one of four EO posts within the wider team and you may be required to work flexibly to support other parts of the team to ensure we provide efficient and effective services.

You will work closely with external stakeholders and the business to coordinate the management of litigation cases, ensuring that responses to these are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_
- Acting as the main point of contact for the management of litigation cases, including Personal Injury claims, ACAS Early Conciliation claims and Employment Tribunal claims by gathering information required from the business.
- Coordinating and providing policy advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that cases are dealt a timely manner
- Managing the allocation and tracking of internal Discrimination, Bullying & Harassment Cases
- Providing support to the HR Business Partners on key tasks and initiatives that link to DVSA’s wider business objective to eliminate Discrimination, Bullying and Harassment in the workplace
- Providing support and leadership to team members, ensuring that skills and knowledge are developed
- Monitoring of Service Level Agreements to ensure that cases are dealt with in a timely fashion.
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of team processes
- Ensuring data protection regulations are followed and data is dealt with appropriately
- Undertaking any other duties as may be determined from time to time within the general scope of the post

**Person specification**:
To thrive in this role, you will have strong communication skills and can express yourself in a confident and professional manner with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have experience of advising on best practice and have been involved with casework.

Excellent administrative and organisational skills are required and you will be able to organise and prioritise work to maximise productivity and achieve tight deadlines. You will be highly adaptable and flexible, adjusting to the requirements of the role.

**Additional Information**

There may be occasional travel to other DVSA locations. However, you will be provided with sufficient notice.

You will be willing to work towards or hold a CIPD or equivalent HR qualification.
