- Be willing to invest your own time in your professional development in addition to the profound training provided by The Little Gym.
- Working at least one weekend day each week

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to teach children aged 10 months to 12 years in our state-of-the-art gymnastics gym. As a Little Gym teacher, you will use your expertise in gymnastics, movement, and child development to boost children's confidence, enhance their physical abilities, and foster their overall development. You will also help them acquire real gymnastics skills. Alongside teaching classes, you will assist with promoting the business and ensuring smooth front desk operations, facility cleanliness, and positive team communication. Rest assured, comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with all the necessary skills.

To thrive in this role, you should possess a positive, fun-loving attitude, and possess an innate affinity for children. Previous experience in gymnastics, parkour, dance, child development, or performance is highly desirable, as is experience teaching sports to children. You may have worked as a PE teacher, gymnastics coach, parkour instructor, dance teacher, or have a background as an experienced gymnast. It is important to be proactive, self-motivated, and open to learning new skills. Organization and reliable time management skills are essential, while physical fitness is also crucial, as this role involves keeping up with active children throughout the day. Collaboration is key, as you will be part of an amazing team that you will definitely enjoy working with. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.

In addition to the aforementioned requirements, we ask that you provide two references from previous jobs and undergo an enhanced DBS check upon hiring. The starting salary for this position ranges from £22,000 to £24,000, depending on experience.

Roles and responsibilities will primarily revolve around teaching and associated duties, accounting for approximately 70-80% of your working hours. This includes ensuring the safety of the children in your classes, ensuring they actively engage in all activities, and facilitating a positive and conducive learning environment. You will also be expected to support your team members, complete online training courses, weekly face to face on site training, engage in self-driven learning to improve your teaching skills, show up punctually and prepared for classes, and build professional relationships with parents and caregivers. A caring, patient, and positive demeanor is essential in all interactions with parents and children. You should always approach situations with a solutions-focused mindset, seeking positive outcomes that benefit both the business and its members. Developing your knowledge in gymnastics coaching and child development to support effective communication with parents and children is also crucial. Moreover, you will play a role in promoting the business to members and guests, contributing to its continued success.
