Head Waiter/supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Server to join our team. As the Head Server, you will be responsible for overseeing the dining experience and ensuring exceptional guest service. You will work closely with the restaurant staff to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and ensuring prompt delivery of food and beverages
- Train, supervise, and motivate servers to deliver exceptional service
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food preparation and delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting up tables, arranging decorations, and ensuring proper tableware is available
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and efficient manner
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the dining experience
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments, and place orders as needed
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and basic math skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional guest services
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic culinary knowledge is preferred but not required
- Passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding dining experience

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per year
