Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can make a real difference in ensuring the safety and well-being of others? We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our main base in Burston, Norfolk, as well as supporting 2 additional Priory Healthcare sites within the local Norfolk area.

Job Purpose:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the effective and efficient day-to-day maintenance, as well as new and alteration works for the 3 sites. Your primary focus will be ensuring the safety of our service users, colleagues, and visitors. By identifying and reporting any damage, faults, or related issues, you will help maintain our facilities to the highest quality standards and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any damage, faults, or related issues.
- Perform general maintenance tasks at our site to keep everything in optimal condition.
- Carry out compliance testing and local maintenance checks to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Have a strong awareness of and comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
- Safeguard the security and integrity of our buildings and site, ensuring the safety of all its occupants.
- Be willing to be part of an On Call rotation to handle any urgent maintenance needs.

**Requirements**:

- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capable of working both independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a larger team.
- Desirable experience and understanding in a building, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical discipline.
- Hold a full driving license, preferably with more than three years of driving experience to operate company vehicles.
