**Employer description**:
We design and build network infrastructures and provide IT support services to small and medium companies across the UK. We use a range of technologies from Microsoft, Webroot, VMware, TP-Link Ubiquiti, and HP to name a few.

As we continue to grow as a company, we are looking to expand our internal staff count. We are looking for someone to join our helpdesk team.

**Overview**:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.

**Salary**:
£15,000 per annum.

**Duties**:

- Knowledge of Office365 Administration/Setup
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Ability to converse professionally and calmly with customers and ensure we maintain good working relationships.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019
- Network troubleshooting - DNS/TCP-IP/DHCP
- Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting, including setting up WIFI hotspots, diagnosing speed and broadband issues, replacing routers, creating network cables

**As well as**:

- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, obtain information, and provide solutions for a good range of technical problems

- An understanding of how downtime can affect the various departments within a business
- An understanding of how to document their troubleshooting and diagnostic steps to outline the
- faster resolution of future scenarios

**Entry requirements**:
**The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows**:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

- Out-of-hours on-call rota after successful probation period (3 months)

**Important Information**:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
