General Practice Dispener/trainee Dispenser

We seek an experienced dispenser with excellent organisational and communication skills, who is at ease working under pressure.

Job Summary:

- Provide efficient and accurate dispensing of medication to the patients, processing all relevant prescriptions in accordance with the principles of good practice.
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the dispensary.
- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

Qualifications:
Desirable:

- NVQII or equivalent recognised dispensing qualification
- Computer IT skill (ideally to EDEXCEL level or equivalent)

NVQII rate £11.60 per hour. 4 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro rata).

Opportunity to join the NHS pension scheme and on site or near to site parking.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.60-£11.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
