Project Description

Great Lakes Australia's (GLA) external systems GLIMMR (ETL) and PURE (PAS) will be decommissioned.

A new Reporting Solution is being developed to provide integrated reporting across MGA, F&C and Claims information.

Task Description
- Lead Business Analyst to develop and embed new Policy and Claims Administration system interacting with the business
- Support data migration and User Acceptance Testing
- Identify issues and define resolutions related to system functionality and reporting
- Gather and document new functional and reporting requirements with business and functional stakeholders (MGA and F&C business, Finance, Tax, Actuarial).
- Liaise with technical development team to specify configuration requirements/ development work
- Quality assurance of reporting continuity between legacy and target system reports

Required working experience & education
- 7 - 10 years of Insurance business experience as Business Analyst
- Experience with supporting data migrations and system decommissioning
- Insurance industry knowledge

**Required Skills and qualifications**

Technical Must have
- Excellent understanding of Insurance sector with focus on Primary Insurance Policy Administration systems and related Reporting
- Primary Insurance policy lifecycle and claims handling knowledge
- Insurance PAS system functionality and data analysis and issue resolution
- UAT issue resolution
- Familiar with working on agile projects
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrable experience of using use cases, UML, user stories

Technical Nice to have
- Defining data transformation rules
- BCS BA (ISEB) or equivalent certification
- Higher Education in Information technology, computer science or related topics.

Personal Must have
- Ability to communicate solutions to business stakeholders
- Strong analytical, facilitation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated multidisciplinary communications skills particularly with business stake holders (end user and management levels)
- Ability to independently lead meetings.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to accurately document and communicate agreed tasks, business and technical requirements, issues and resolutions to stakeholders

Personal Nice to have

Intercultural experience working with a team located in multiple geographies (India, UK, Germany, Australia).
