Water Hygiene

Due to continued growth a well established Water Hygiene company formed in 1995 and based in Chessington, Surrey has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic full time Water Hygiene/Legionella Control Technician to join their professional team ensuringwater hygiene compliance to their many varied clients.

The successful applicant will be working on various sites generally throughout, but not restricted to, the London area, Home Counties, and the South East of England, delivering high levels of service to and maintaining excellent relationships with the company'sclients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Disinfection and sampling of domestic water systems to current standards
- Implementation of the ACOP L8 and HSG274 legionella control water monitoring
- Domestic water sampling
- Compliance remedial works
- Closed system chemical and bacteriological testing
- Closed system chemical treatment
- TMV checks and servicing
- Servicing and replacement of water softeners and filters
- Accurate completion of site report sheets and site logbooks

**About you**:

- Full UK Driving Licence is required
- Water Treatment/Water Hygiene experience and experience implementing the ACOP L8 & HSG274.
- Must be organised, self-motivated and have a good work ethic
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must work accurately and have an attention to detail
- Must have a presentable appearance

Due to the nature of the work, some overtime working at an enhanced rate will be required, hence a flexible approach to the position is required.

Salary depends on industry experience.
