Sessional Counsellor

**Hours**:4 hours per week between 4pm-8pm

**Salary**:starting from £15.50 per hour dependent

on experience plus supervision costs

Llanelli Mind offers a wide range of support services for people with mental health problems throughout Carmarthenshire. Delivered by a small team of dedicated multi skilled workers we are well established in our field, and have supported local people in need for over 35 years.

Llanelli Mind is looking for qualified counsellors ideally with experience of working with adult clients presenting with a range of issues.

The successful applicants would be expected to meet the following criteria

Ø A qualified counsellor level 5 and above

Ø A member of a professional body

Ø Be able to work in an integrative way

Ø Have the ability and confidence to work independently as well as in a team

Ø Support the therapeutic services manager to ensure that agreed services are developed and delivered in line with all key targets, service level agreements and/or funding requirements.

Ø Complete all service administration tasks as required.

Ø Help collate information to demonstrate that agreed targets have been achieved.
