**Job description**
Medsolve are recruiting for Support Workers and Care assistants to join our team immediately. We need strong, dedicated individuals with a passion to provide the best medical care to our service users in their supported living settings in the Hebburn area.
**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**:
- 6 months experience as a support worker or care assistant
- Experience in moving and handling
- Enhanced DBS Updated (if not, we can provide this for you)
- Dedication to provide a duty of care
- Driving license (preferred but not essential)

**THE ROLE OF A MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT**:
This role is predominantly 11- & 12-hour shifts, mainly 9-9 days and nights.
Working with 4 individuals to support with varied needs including mental health, challenging behaviour, drug and alcohol abuse.
Occasionally you will be asked to sit with a service user who is 2-2-1 to encourage person centred planning and encourage everyday living.
This role requires providing personal care and assisting them with their daily routine, such as bathing, dressing.
Also assisting residents while utilizing moving and handling equipment.
