Our Product Design teams work on products and experiences that millions of people use and enjoy. Your work in this team will impact how consumers interact and experience our streaming platforms, our news sites and various other on demand products.

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team working within design systems. Reporting to the Head of Product Design for Design Systems, you will work within a wider Product team whose mission is to create solid and delightful streaming experiences that meet user needs and business goals. Our ambition is to grow our products and services by optimising the paths that our prospect and lapsed viewers take to connect with the core value of our streaming service.

You will use your full range of interaction, visual, prototyping and problem solving skills, to shape a complex and multi-device ITVX design system, including designing components, documenting best practices, and exporting knowledge to others. You will be part of a team that ensures design quality across all facets of UI, UX, motion etc.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Envision and create a complex design system (primarily in Figma) for multiple devices such as web, mobile and connected TVs.
- Ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration with engineers and other functions such as the data team and researchers.
- Unlock product teams to ship solutions at a greater pace and scale
- Work with other product designers by providing clear feedback on usage, conventions, and patterns
- Establish design standards and principles accompanying the design system for scalability, efficiency, and consistency
- Evaluate and improve usability and accessibility of components, and be a champion for the user
- Create high-quality mocks and interactive prototypes to communicate your work. Use user research and data to inform your reasonings
- Be an evangelist of the Design System among all stakeholders and export your knowledge to others
- Inspire the entire team and our internal partners by bringing new ideas to the table and defining next-generation interfaces
- Gather feedback from Design System users to iterate and improve.

**Skills you’ll need **(minimum criteria)
- A substantial background of Product design experience, on a combined UX/UI role with demonstrable impact on the product.
- Solid practical experience with evolved and complex Design Systems
- You have a portfolio that showcases deep interaction and visual design skills as well as dedicated design systems work (including documentation, governance and process workflows).
- Knowledge and experience in designing for a variety of devices including web, iOS, Android and ideally TVs.
- Proficiency in Figma
- Motion design experience (and specifically Lottie animations) and experience in designing for TV platforms is preferable
