About the role
We've got an exciting opportunity to join the Academy as an Elite Local Scout.

**What will you be doing?**
- Attend Academy fixtures under the direction of Northwest Regional Manager and the Academy Scouting Coordinator.
- Work as part of regional team to collect information on U9 - U16 players registered with Academy teams in the Northwest of England.
- Identity and recommend suitable players through the clubs standardized processes, who have the potential to join the LFC Academy.
- Collaborate as part of a team and show a willingness and experience of contributing in this way.
- Undertake International or other National fixtures when deemed necessary by the Academy Scouting Coordinator.
- Undertake video work and clip players of interested as requested by Regional Managers

**Who are we looking for?**

To be successful you will hold an FA Level 2 in Talent ID and have completed the FA safeguarding children’s course. You’ll have a proven track record working as a Scout, reporting to, and recommending players for a professional team. You’ll be able to demonstrate in depth and recent knowledge of Academy players in the North West of England. You will be experienced in using video to support the recommendation of a player. Ideally you will have experience working for a category 1 or category 2 Academy.

This is a casual zero hours contract position, working variable hours across the week including evenings and weekends depending on the football calendar. Your main base will be our Academy, located in Kirkby.
