An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Britten Norman. Due to ongoing growth, we are now recruiting for a B1 licensed Aircraft Maintenance Team Leader to join us at our Lee-on-the-Solent team.

The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that aircraft maintenance activities are completed to ensure regulatory airworthiness, company procedures and quality requirements are rigorously adhered to. You will also be responsible for supervising a skilled team of technicians and apprentices.

**Primary Tasks**

Main tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Day to day supervision of your team
- Carrying out aircraft maintenance, inspection and repair
- Scheduling work to meet delivery programmes
- Certifying work within the scope of Company Authorisations
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Regular reporting on work being carried out within the team
- Mentoring junior team members

- Leadership skills to be able to motivate and supervise a team of technicians.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communications skills both verbal & written
- Able to work well under pressure & achieve tight deadlines
- Keen eye for detail & able to follow required processes

- Proactive with strong attention to detail
- Once established in the role confident to work autonomously

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:

- Part 66 B1.1 and/or B1.2 License
- 5 GCSEs including English & Maths at Grade C/4 or above

**Required Experience**
- Extensive experience in embodying aircraft modifications
- Extensive experience in maintaining aircraft
- Strong leadership experience with hands on supervision of a small team
