Panacea Children's services are a childcare company dedicated to ensuring the best outcomes for children. We are looking for caring, loving individuals to support our children at our new home in Leigh for children who have a learning disability and/or autism.

Our warm, safe and modern home based in Leigh, Greater Manchester can care for up to 2 children aged 7 -18 with learning disabilities and/or autism, here we provide them a haven where they can feel happy, settled and really express themselves and support them to grow and develop.

Your role as a Team Leader is vital to their development and you have the opportunity to really make a difference in the young people's lives and help guide and support them to achieve positive outcomes and life choices.

This is a new home and you will be supported by the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager, your role is vital to the smooth running of the home.

All applicants must have at least 2 years' experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people, a Level 3 qualification or equivalent and a full UK Driving Licence.

Within this leadership role, you will not only ensure the welfare and care of each child but also give guidance and support to all residential workers. Consistency and organisation skills are key. You will create plans and paperwork as well as supporting others with these so a good level of written work and IT skills is required. Setting boundaries and expectations for the young people and create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.

Our shift patterns include early, late and some sleep shifts (up to 10 per month), so must be willing to work some weekends and bank holidays.

Salary for the role including sleeps is up to £35,364, we also have a host of other benefits including company pension, employee assist.
