**Description**:
As a Product Technical Assistant, you will collate and manage accurate product information records across all categories and create engaging product copy across multiple formats that highlights key features and benefits for both internal and external use, working closely with Marketing to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.

Specific responsibilities will include creating detailed and accurate product descriptions inclusive of materials, weights & dimensions, producing internal product training guides, packaging copy and instruction manuals, as well as internal product information packs and accurate product uploads to Extranet to be used across other business functions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce detailed product specification records and technical files
- Produce product copy for use on packaging, online and in marketing materials, reflecting appropriate specs as well as key features and benefits in line with brand guidelines.
- Create and maintain internal product training guides and master training guides.
- Develop packaging copy, care instructions, and instruction manuals for new products.
- Liaise with the wider product team to build product knowledge and understand specifications.
- Ensure all product copy is reviewed and approved by the wider product team.
- Meet deadlines and monitor the Product Tracker for timely Extranet uploads.
- Upload product copy to the Extranet, ensuring completeness of details.
- Write detailed instruction manuals for products, ensuring these are tested and compliant with all relevant technical standards
- Manage product copy sheets for marketing and customer service handover packs
- Collaborating with the marketing team to align product copy with broader marketing campaigns.
- Testing and optimising product descriptions based on customer feedback and performance data.
- Support Customer Service in responding to customer queries and update product information based on trends
- Collating and analysing product returns records, identifying trends and working with Buying to propose and deliver appropriate actions
- Staying updated on product compliance requirements and industry trends, incorporating best practices into customer-facing product copy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other teams (eg. Marketing and Ecommerce) to gather information and insight that supports more effective product records.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Exceptional writing skills - ability to write clear, concise and engaging product copy
- Attention to detail - ensuring accuracy and consistency in all product related materials
- Technical Writing: Proficiency in developing comprehensive instruction manuals.
- Product Knowledge: Ability to understand and articulate product specifications and benefits.
- Organised - able to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills - strong ability to convey ideas and collaborate effectively with teams and to engage with senior stakeholders
- Content Management: Experience with uploading and managing content on web platforms.
- SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles to optimise product descriptions.
- Customer focused and adaptable - flexibility to adapt writing style for different mediums and audiences.
