**Who we are looking for**:

**Key Responsibilities**:
This role will support all aspects of the finance function including purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking, reporting, analysis - full training will be given for all technical aspects of the role, but initiative is vital.

**Key Duties**:

- To undertake any work required within the finance function, including administrating the purchase invoice system, raising invoices and tracking payments, maintaining spreadsheets, working with other departments regarding costs, filing, reconciling accounts and much more
- Identify and improve processes.
- Assist with the analysis, preparation and delivery of financial information to key business stakeholders.
- Processing statements that need to be reconciled to identify any upcoming or ongoing issues that may need addressing.
- Assistance in year end audit.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc general duties as required and agreed within the finance office.
- To adhere to Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and to be mindful of the welfare of other people, following safe working practices at all times both in the working environment and whilst working from home

**You will be able to demonstrate the following**:

- IT literate; confident working with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) and has robust keyboard skills. Advanced Excel skills or an aptitude for working with Excel with a willingness to learn advanced skills would be beneficial.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail
- Proactive and able to prioritise daily workload accordingly.
- An enthusiastic person with a strong energy drive and professional can-do attitude
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate themselves easily to the Finance and other FCMS teams.

- Capable collaboratively with other members of the finance team to seek continual improvement.
- Has a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Has confidence in ability to show initiative and not wait for instruction.
- Has good verbal and written communication skills.

- Good level of IT skills. Proven experience of excel spreadsheets is essential
