At the Glen Vue Community Hub, the home of of Age UK East Grinstead & District, We offer Key Services and provide a variety of activities for older people, including those with dementia and their caregivers. Join our dedicated team in making a difference to the lives of older people in our community and help them to enjoy later life.

**Main Duties**
- To work with the services co-ordinator to ensure the smooth operation of key services.
- To support the delivery of the dementia service and Day Centre activity programme, ensuring services and activities are appropriate, safe, and stimulating.
- To assist with overseeing client participation in the daily activities including lunch and actively encourage member/client interaction.
- Manage group size and guide members/clients in participating in activities.
- Collaborate with volunteers to support activities and services.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of participant attendance and feedback.
- Aid with transportation arrangements for members, if required.
- Support the coordination of special events or outings for members or other clients.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Actively contribute to team meetings and discussions to improve service delivery.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for members, volunteers, and staff.
- Participate in fundraising or promotional activities to raise awareness of the centre’s services within the community.
- Act as an activity leader for select activities.
- Act as an appointed First Aider and undergo necessary training.
- To ensure health and safety standards are maintained for the service and any hazards are reported and dealt with immediately.
- Uphold safeguarding policy reporting any concerns to community centre manager and/or services co-ordinator.
- To comply with all company processes in line with Age UK East Grinstead & District policies and procedures
- If required, to attend training and meetings as required.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate within the role as may be reasonably required by the services co-ordinator or any other manager.

**General**
- Fulfil other duties as required.
- Attend additional training sessions as necessary.
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and events when needed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10/15 per week

Pay: Up to £11.53 per hour
