Torbay Pharmaceuticals are looking for an _**experienced Human Resources Adviser**_ with strong interpersonal skills, extensive operational HR knowledge and experience, used to working in a fast-paced, performance-driven commercial environment and can inspire and empower others to drive effective performance management.

The role of the **People Adviser** is to deliver a first-class People Team service by providing expert HR advice, guidance, and support to managers across TP, support the delivery of TP’s People Plan.

You must have extensive operational HR experience, especially in relation to managing complex employee relations cases; supporting organisational change; requirements of Employment Tribunals; an understanding of the needs of a fast growing commercial business; and an ability and willingness to bring the best out in everyone. We are on a significant transformation journey and so you must also have the ability to tune in to our ‘now’ and the courage to challenge in order to support the transition to our best future.

**Main duties of the job**

You will work closely with the People Business Partner other members of the People Team and build relationships with colleagues across the business at all levels. Much of the role is focused on being the primary focus for our employment relations support and capacity to support our teams and managers as we take the next step in our transformation journey. You will have line management responsibility for our People Team Administration. There will also be a requirement to deputise for the People Business Partner.

You will provide a holistic business partner service supporting managers in performance management, wellbeing, service transformation and achievement of TP’s priorities for its people, whilst ensuring robust employee relations practice.

The role is a key member of the People Team and works closely with the People Business Partner, People Team Officer, Learning Advisers and Talent Adviser to ensure the delivery of a first-class People Team service that supports and helps drive our organisational priorities and long term goals. The role has line management responsibility for the People Administration within the People Team.
