The Hours: 30 Hours per week spread over 3-4 days. Weekend, bank holiday work and late-night work required as standard. This job role requires a high level of flexibility, but Friday and Saturday working will be required for weddings.

Dronfield Hall Barn has an exciting opportunity for a talented and engaging individual to join the team as a Weddings and Events Co-ordinator

Dronfield Hall Barn, a grade II listed medieval Barn in Dronfield, on the doorstep of the Peak District, is an exclusive destination venue set in beautiful tranquil gardens.

Working in a small close-knit team you will be responsible for the planning, setup of the event and delivery of the day from start to finish. You will need to confidently manage and motivate an operations team, to deliver high standards of service. You will also work holistically with the Barn’s Creative and Coffee Shop Managers to ensure the ethos of this heritage site is upheld. You must be friendly and efficient with excellent communication skills, you will be guiding couples through their special day and helping to make it perfect, a day to remember for all the right reasons.

**Essential Skills and Duties**
- Be responsible for all aspects of the wedding/event operation from first enquiry to execution on the day, maintaining organised files for each booking.
- Show visitors round the venue and be able to highlight the unique features of the Barn for their event and generate quotations for wedding and event bookings.
- On event days be responsible for staff, contractors, and third-party suppliers and build relationships with our third-party suppliers to ensure events run smoothly.
- Assist with logistics, including setup and décor
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
- Work closely with the coffee shop manager of staffing rotas for all event bookings.
- Income targets for events
- looking for ways to develop this income stream.
- Budgetary control for all costs associated with events including staff costs and supplier costs.
- Plan and organise two wedding showcases and wedding fairs each year.
- Be literate on social media and be able to promote our goods and services across our different platforms, as well as answer customer enquiries promptly.
- Be able to represent the Barn to an external audience at workshops and events.
- Assist with the development of marketing activities and promotional material including brochures, posters, banners and other promotional materials.
- Research competitors on wedding trends, offerings and pricing. Ensure Dronfield Hall Barn remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace.
- Raise invoices for all regular hirers, event bookings and weddings and check the payments have been made on time.
- Any other duties required to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the barn.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or event planning is expected.
- Full clean driving license
