**Maintenance Operative**:
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Forest Hill (Forest Hill School)

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an M&E Operative to join our maintenance team at Forest Hill school in Lewisham. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day between 05:00 and 19:00, Monday to Friday.

**The role**:

- Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
- To carry out planned and reactive M&E and fabric maintenance, repair and new works tasks including statutory and mandatory compliance as directed.
- To undertake training and qualify as Authorised or Competent Person for any M&E/fabric components as required
- To carry out door inspections across the estate, including fire doors.
- Working 40 hours per week from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with participation in the call-out rota

**The person**:

- Previous experience in building services to include all aspects of planned & reactive maintenance within large commercial buildings
- Will hold basic qualifications or have good experience in either electrical/plumbing/fabric
- Must have good IT skills
- Hard working with a can do attitude and able to work unsupervised
- Full UK Driving License
- Computer literate
- Good communication and customer focused
- Able to work independently on own initiative as well as within a small team
- Able to obtain DBS clearance (due to working in the vicinity of children)
