We are looking for a practitioner who can work flexibly across these different areas of the service with the enthusiasm needed to engage a wide range of children, young people, their families and other professionals in meeting their diverse needs. You must be a registered professional with a relevant governing body (NMC, Social Care Wales or health professionals council) and be able to deliver mental health assessments (compliant with The Mental Health Measure Wales 2010) and evidence based interventions for children and young people.

Experience of working in the community with children and young people/adults who are displaying a range of risk type behaviours, complex mental health needs and complex family situations would be an advantage.

This is an exciting time to join CAMHS which is currently in a period of transformation.

To provide assessment and intervention and / or specific evidence based therapies to children and young people with mental health problems and significant mental health disorders. Provide consultation and support to front line professionals in understanding and supporting children / young people and families through providing training, advice and direction in addition to the delivery of early intervention programmes

The service operates 7 day working and the willingness and ability to work across the service hours is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
