This an exciting opportunity for qualified and experienced Band 6 worker to consolidate your skill set by working in a specialist community mental health service via the trusts Staff bank. You will have the opportunity to deliver on NICE compliant recovery focused interventions as well as develop clinical skills in case and risk management.

You will work in an established team which engages assertively within a balanced bio psycho-social/spiritual approach. In return we will offer regular clinical and caseload management supervision and a culture of learning and ongoing progression.
- Working in partnership with service users, carers and other partner agencies, assess, plan and provide packages of care for individuals and their families/carers experiencing first episode psychosis
- To fulfil all requirements of CPA Care Co-ordination
- Provide supervision and support to junior team members and colleagues.

Bradford and Airedale Early Intervention Service provide help for young people and adults experiencing first episode psychosis to reduce distress, maintain independence and integrity of care networks, maximize function, prevent relapse, promote recovery and social inclusion, and minimize any impact of the illness. The service also works actively to support families and others affected by the impact of psychosis. The team offers two distinct care pathways for people who use EIP services depending on need. ARMS (at risk mental state), which includes UHR (Ultra High Risk) pathway for individuals vulnerable to psychosis, and FEP (first episode psychosis) pathway.

The service provides specialist mental health assessment leading to appropriate treatment and care plans which enable integrated working. Each core team consists of a full multidisciplinary team of a broad range of staff, experienced in working with young people and families affected by psychosis. We employ specialist mental health professionals as well as staff with expertise in working with children, substance misuse, and social recovery (including work and education), and the needs of minority communities, and those with expertise based on personal experience of psychosis. Working in partnership with other services, we aim to meet the full range of needs of young people referred to us and provide effective and acceptable interventions aimed at achieving full recovery.
