VD Recruitment has partnered with a leading chain of award winning Independent Montessori Nurseries in Wembley & Harrow area that specializes in Montessori teaching.

We are seeking an experienced full time **Level 3 Nursery Practitioner** to join their dynamic team at the Ofsted Rated ‘Good’ nursery.

**Salary: £22,000 to £24000 PA + Benefits**

**Location - Harrow HA2**

**FULL TIME - 40 /week (Rotating early & late shifts between 8am to 6pm)**

You’ll need to be highly committed to providing children with the very best care and education. You’ll also have to be keen to progress and develop your own knowledge and skills and work as part of a team. The successful Nursery Practitioner will have strong knowledge of EYFS, an understanding of children’s development.

Your main duties as a Nursery Practitioner would be:

- Provide high quality care and activities for the children and to recognise both individual and group requirements in a secure, safe and stimulating environment.
- Observing, assessing, and planning for the children’s individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and create opportunities for children to progress
- Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and any other appropriate guidance for young children in accordance with nursery policy and guidelines.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers, recognising that parents are their children’s first educators, and encourage parental involvement in the nursery.
- Assist and attend parents’ meetings and open days.
- Help Maintain the safety and security of all children, employees and visitors to the Nursery.
- Help carry out regular assessments to ensure all Nursery Health and Safety procedures are followed.

Person Specification for the ideal Nursery Practitioner
- Minimum Level 3 in Childcare & Education or Level 2 with good experience.
- The ability to deliver high-quality practice.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Being a positive role model to your team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good ICT skills
