Accounts Assistant/bookkeeper

**Company description**
A small, dynamic Property Development & Management company is looking for a part time Property Management Accountant to join their exceptional team. The successful individual will be working closely with the Directors and very experienced employees in the field. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to work on a flexible basis. The position is office based but can be partially remote.
**Job description**
**The Role**:
- Carry out accounting duties across company residential portfolios/projects
- Quickbooks/Xero/ or Sage experience necessary
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases
- Bills processing
- Reconciliations
- Preparing financial statements (profit and loss)
- Managing employee expense claims
- Credit control
- Quarterly VAT reports preparations
- Liaising with clients and supplier
- Weekly payment runs
- Filing/post/regular admin task related to Accounting position
- Assisting and reporting to Finance Director
- Using both Excel and in-house IT Systems
**Specification**:
- Strong understanding of Property Management accounting, having previously worked in a similar role
- Property management system exposure
- Have a proactive approach and want to work in a small team
- Strong attention to detail and able to get on with their work independently
- Strong organisational/time management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
