**Permanent, 9 Day fortnight (37.5 hours)**

**Week one, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday**
**Week two, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday Friday**
**8.00 - 17.20 with 30 min lunch break**

**£25,000-£27,000 per Annum D.O.E + Mileage paid**

Passionate about healthcare? We have an exciting opportunity within Xyla Elective Care for a highly motivated Healthcare Assistant to join the team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Providing efficient and high-quality healthcare services is crucial, and our mission is to help the NHS achieve this goal. As a healthcare assistant, you can play a vital role in our pioneering clinical support service, aimed at increasing efficiency and quality across the healthcare industry. Your main responsibility will be to take photographs of lesions and document them on patient's electronic files.

Working with over 80 NHS trusts, our clinical care team delivers a range of clinical services in hospitals, the community or virtually. Our services include diagnostic, acute and virtual services - all of which are designed and delivered by senior NHS consultants and operational staff who ensure that national clinical guidelines and operational best practice guidance are met.

**Everyday you will...**
- Record information and activities undertaken with patients and carers in an accurate and timely fashion using manual or computer systems as appropriate.
- To take precise and accurate photographs of lesions/skin rashes (training will be provided) Using the appropriate equipment to photograph areas of the body as required by the GP referral.
- Welcome patients and visitors to the Clinic, ensuring they are orientated and aware of clinic routines and facilities using effective communication styles and methods to convey information.
- To complete any relevant departmental / Trust audits as requested.
- To assist with the safe guidance of patients, acting as escort if appropriate

**What will help you succeed in this role?**
- Previous experience in either a Healthcare Assistant in a Hospital setting or Medical Photographer role or a relevant Health and Social care NVQ Level 3
- Adaptable communication style being clear and effective with clients, clinical workforce and colleagues
- IT skills, literacy and numeracy skills that will play a key part in your day to day workload.
- A caring and passionate personality with a willingness to help others and to undergo education/ training for personal, practice and service needs.
