We're have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our North West business in a role that will be aligned with a £100M project North of Manchester.

**Location**: Lancaster / Manchester

**Contract: Full Time, Permanent**

**What will you be responsible for?**

As Senior Planner you will be a key part of the project delivery team assist in development of realistic target construction programmes, retaining an overall monitoring capacity to ensure construction plans are created, updated, and amended in line with project needs.

Your day to day will include:

- All aspects of planning, phasing, programming and sequencing for our tendering activity, including the coordination of design, commercial and production activities into one truly Integrated Programme.
- Creating of look ahead programmes, individual trade package programmes.
- Monitor and update progress and undertake regular progress monitoring drop lines.
- Developing ideas to drive improvement and consistency in the timely delivery of our preconstruction preferred bids and our live projects.
- Supporting and mentoring project leads to ensure they have the technical software skills to produce their own regular look ahead programmes, advise on affect of any project slippage on existing programmes and update accordingly

**What are we looking for?**

This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:

- You will be comfortable using planning software - Asta / Primavera or Microsoft Project.
- Will have experience in planning with a main contractor delivering construction projects.
- Good construction technical knowledge across relevant work packages
- Excellent communication skills, able to work across teams in an advisory capacity and collaborate across departments.
- Keen eye for detail, ability to draw on project experience to identify and mitigate programme risks
- Highly organised and able to work to multiple deadlines
