**What you'll be doing**:

- Shape business responses to industry consultations and activity, working with our 2LOD Compliance team, engaging externally where required.
- Provide operational interpretation for deployment of customer and conduct related regulatory requirements.
- Deploy resource to support departments in the delivery of regulatory change.
- Accountability for ensuring all conduct regulatory change is delivered across DLG and facilitate operation / deployment through provision of advice and support. In particular, ensuring changes required to meet the new standards introduced by the Consumer Duty are embedded.
- Coach and grow regulatory awareness, working with 2LOD Compliance, across DLG and co-ordinate work across multiple areas on regulatory issues that span teams
- Facilitate operation of Group-wide customer, conduct and regulatory change committees and steering groups and inputs to Group governance committees and forums
- Maintain relationship with 2LOD and 3LOD to support understanding and response to respective oversight and assurance engagements.
- Build understanding of the (customer and) conduct regulatory landscape.

**What you'll need**:

- A broad understanding of the insurance sector, including consumer, competitor, commercial and regulatory landscapes.
- Experience with the regulatory and customer conduct context in which DLG operates
- Experienced working with external parties
- Manage trades-offs between customer, commercial and regulatory outcomes.
- Create solutions and identify improvements to processes and ways of working.
- Operate and progress with high levels of ambiguity and uncertainty.
