Overview

Our Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, and financial compliance within LIGA.

Working closely with the senior management team, they will ensure the financial health and stability of the company.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.

3. Financial Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee external audits and tax filings, liaising with auditors and tax advisors as necessary.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

4. Cash Management:

- Manage cash flow and liquidity, forecasting cash needs and optimizing working capital.
- Monitor banking activities and ensure adequate funding for operational requirements.
- Implement cash management policies and procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise risks.

6. Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a financial management role, with a track record of success in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and internal controls.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Xero.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
