Stoane Lighting are looking for a specifier support (sales) person to help expand and maintain the current growth in sales both in the UK and globally.

Reporting to the Head of Specifier support, the role will be focused on servicing both existing and new specifications for lighting products primarily with Lighting Designers, Architects, and Interior Designers. There is an existing contact list to service and a number of liveprojects at varying stages to support and progress.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have tenacity, hunger and a keen focus on productivity,

You will be expected to play a part in delivering the company’s sales strategy, turnover and profit targets.

You will be based at HQ in Loanhead and will be required to attend trade shows both in the UK and occasionally overseas.

Key job requirements will include:

- Meeting the yearly sales target.
- Providing solutions and quotations to customers.
- Meet targets and department KPIs.
- Successfully supporting the business plan and strategy of the company.
- Build a high level of knowledge of our product range.
- Understand the company’s capabilities and what makes them different in the market.
- Continue to build company reputation for providing great technical advice and solutions to customers.
- Keep our products at the forefront of our customers’ minds.
- Listen to customers’ feedback on products and relay this back to the design team.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and potential threats.
- Sales box distribution.

**Other Elements**

Loanhead is the Stoane Lighting base of operation for our Design Office, Project Management, Luminaire Assembly, and our Workshop. We also have a separate Paintshop in Haddington that is capable of powder coating and various wet paint finishes.

- Design or engineering background (preferable).
- Independent problem solver.
- Good communication skills and collaborative working.
- Strong administration skills and time management, capable of managing multiple enquiries/ projects and sales prospects at one time and meeting deadlines.
- Converting specifier relationships into sales.
- High self-motivation and a desire to succeed and improve.
- Good IT skills.
- Good team player.

Stoane Lighting is an Employee-Owned design-led manufacturer of high end architectural light fittings.We are a market leader in sustainability and our products are specified globally by lighting consultants, architects, consultant engineers and design specialists into a variety of building environments.

These include heritage projects such as Museums and Galleries, historic buildings, and places of worship. We also work on commercial office developments, residential, retail and hospitality projects.

All products are manufactured to order and assembled at our UK facility. Beyond our standard range of products we manufacture variations of them, as well as fully bespoke products.

We have a solid base of local subcontractors who make components to our design and we also have a capable workshop that is used for bespoke one offs and small to medium sized component runs.

We pride ourselves on our tailored and sustainable approach to manufacturing and we offer a very high level of customer service to our valued client base.

**Pay/Salary**

Salary starting at £23,400 - £25,300 Experience depending (6-month Probationary Period)
