**Business Engagement Specialist - Part Time and Term Time**

At Education Business Partnership (EBP), each year we help a wide range of businesses to meet their objectives through the programmes we develop and deliver with them. We harness the value from nearly 4,000 volunteer hours and over 1,000 work experience placements for the benefit of young people across the region.

We are looking for 2 part time Business Engagement Specialists to join our Work Experience and team on a 1 year fixed term contract, to start in September 2023.

If you have experience of working within the Business sector and are able to confidently converse with school and business contacts to promote Work Experience opportunities, we would love to hear from you.

**Key information**:
15-25 hours per week - Flexible on days/hours
£10.90 per hour - Actual salary £7,128 (15 hours) - £11,881 (25 hours) (Full time equivalent £19,838)
38 weeks per year - Following the West Berkshire term dates

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Updating trackers and databases regularly to ensure visibility of progress towards targets/ against delivery plan
- Following up on contacts made through networking events/ e-shots/ other meetings etc to investigate work experience opportunities
- Other duties as required, for example: administration of projects, administrative support to colleagues, generating and sending correspondence etc.

**Essential Skills Required**:

- Demonstrable experience working in, or with, the business sector
- Experience of working on multiple consecutive projects
- Belief in and commitment to quality partnerships between the business world, education and the local community
- Proven track record in delivering to customer requirements and to deadline
- Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiating ability, tact and diplomacy to promote good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good IT skills
- Excellent listening, organisational and time management skills
- Good problem solving abilities, ability to think laterally to meet requirements
