**Job Title**:Business Administration Apprentice

**Location**:London

**Main Purpose of the role**:
To complete a Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration combined with work placements within different parts of the Company. Provide Administrative support and assistance to Facilities and Protection Planning departments. To learn all aspects of administration and to assist with the day-to-day duties including, data inputting and answering the telephone inquiries

**Reporting to**:Compliance Manager

**Key Relationships**:
Compliance Manager, Safety Critical Hub Administration, Protection Team, Group Support, Reception Manager, College Tutors

**Hours of work**

As required by the relevant contract you have been engaged to provide services for with Cleshar

**Role and Responsibilities**

As a Business Administration Apprentice you will:

- To provide administrative support to multiple departments over the course of the apprenticeship.
- To undertake data entry and manipulation to prepare reports
- Take minutes and collate all information for team briefs and management meetings
- Any other duties as requested by line manager
- Filing and correspondence for Managers as required
- To provide backup reception duties as required
- To champion a “team spirit” that supports the company values and encourages professionalism
- To complete a level 3 NVQ programme supported by Apprenticeship Connect. To complete homework tasks set by the college and attend tutor learning days as necessary

**Key Reception Learning, Development, Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Greet and direct visitors in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner ensuring that they are signed in given a visitors badge and informed of evacuation procedure
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions, website and related information
- Receive incoming deliveries and notify recipients accordingly
- Any other tasks as requested by the reception Manager when assigned specifically to the Reception Manager for cover or L&D.

**You will**:

- Comply with the company’s HSQE policies and all other company policies applicable to the effective discharge of your role
- Be familiar with all safety requirements relevant to your post
- Attend client and company safety meetings/briefings as required, ensuring full attendance from your team (s) where you have responsibility to do so
- Comply with fatigue management guidelines

**Data Processing**
- Identify your portfolio/department GDPR Lead and receive a briefing on GDPR as it applies to your activities.
- Immediately report any suspected GDPR data breach to you portfolio/department GDPR Lead or Head of Human Resources (HR)

**Desirable**:

- Fulfil time keeping and attendance expectations
- Confident in presenting ideas
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the business
- Basic skills on Outlook, Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel
- Minimum GCSE English C grade or equivalent (Good verbal and written communication skills)
- Minimum GCSE Maths C grade or equivalent (Good numeracy skills)

- Have good interpersonal communication (verbal, written and listening) skills, that will support the delivery of your duties and able to clearly explain tasks and inspire others with varying backgrounds
- Have high standards of attention to detail in all aspects of your work

- Be a team player with regards to sharing information, helping to resolve a problem, working towards common goals, properly dividing tasks between team members, etc.
- Have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
