**Key Worker**

**Salary - £22,000 - £24,000 per annum (DOE)**

**37.5 hours per week 9am - 5pm**

**MUST have a driving License and access to a car due to travel**

**Role**

As a Peer Support Worker, you'll leverage your lived experience to guide others on their recovery journey. You'll provide practical and emotional support to patients on community mental health team caseloads, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary approach. By offering support, you'll help alleviate service demand and contribute to a dedicated Peer Support network. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' futures, enhancing their prospects and quality of life.

**Duties**
- Prioritise and support a caseload of individuals.
- Identifying recovery goals and supporting and empowering individuals
- Joint working with a number of multi-disciplinary teams
- Promoting and celebrating positive stories recovery
- Updating case notes on clinical NHS systems
- Facilitating and empowering peer led groups

**What you'll need to be successful**
- Valid driving license for travel.
- Ability to engage with challenging individuals and build trusting relationships; patience and resilience are crucial.
- Passion for supporting people and delivering exceptional care.
- Flexible and innovative approach to service delivery.
- Experience leading a small team of professionals.
- Lived experience with mental health, substance misuse, or social issues.
- Dedication to improving people's lives.
- Willingness to challenge oneself and others.
- Ability to promote positive recovery and celebrate personal recovery journey.
- Strong personal boundaries.
- Proficiency in IT skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Supporting housing: 2 years (preferred)
- complex care: 1 year (preferred)
