**We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant to join the team. Our Buying Assistant will be providing vital administrative support for the Buying team, you will be responsible for SKU data management and the smooth running of the critical path throughout the buying cycle. The role will predominately be working on the Homewares department and will involve working with UK and international suppliers as well as cross departmentally with other teams within Loaf. This role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.**:
**The job**:

- Accuracy and great attention to detail in managing the SKU data for the buying team, proactively ensuring all information, including cost price and retails, are kept up to date on the relevant systems and documents.
- Managing and maintaining the critical path from SKU set up to delivery into warehouse, working with both internal teams and external suppliers to make sure key dates are met and product runs on time.
- Proactive in learning and attending relevant training on the internal systems to provide efficient administrative support to the buying team.
- Managing and keeping track of a large volume of samples, ensuring samples are available for sealing sessions, range reviews and photoshoots. This will also include maintaining sample storage areas and range review spaces.
- Ensuring key internal documents around product launches are accurate and kept up to date for other teams within Loaf to use.
- Completing regular comp shops for the buying team highlighting retail changes and opportunity areas.
- Providing key documents for range reviews and sealing sessions, including updating visuals matrix's, which you will also attend.
- Assisting Customer Service and Shack teams with product related queries.

- Adaptable, flexible and able to multitask working in a fast-paced environment. In a growing business, projects can arise which involve amending priorities quickly.
- Organised with a great attention to detail to ensure all data is accurate and up to date for the business to run smoothly.
- Confident in learning new systems and takes initiative to ask questions to broaden learning and understanding.
- Collaborative attitude to work cross departmentally.
- Able to use MS office and google docs.
- Previous experience in retail or a buying team preferred but not essential.
