Urban Medi Spa & Clinic is a specialised healthcare facility in South London. We are seting up a new unit dedicated to offering advanced prenatal care through state-of-the-art 3D and 4D natal scanning technologies. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality imaging services for expectant parents.

**Overview**:
As a Sonographer at Urban Medi Spa & Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in performing 3D and 4D natal scans to monitor foetal development and provide expectant parents with an enriched visual experience of their unborn child. Your proficiency in ultrasound technology will contribute to accurate diagnosis and assessment of prenatal conditions while maintaining a comforting and supportive atmosphere for patients.

**Duties**:
1. Conduct 3D and 4D natal scans on pregnant patients following established protocols and procedures.

2. Monitor foetal development and assess the overall health and well-being of the unborn child.

3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including obstetricians and gynecologists, to provide comprehensive prenatal care.

4. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.

5. Educate patients about the scanning process, address queries, and ensure an overall positive patient experience.

6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including scan images and pertinent medical history.

7. Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology, participating in ongoing training and professional development.

**Skills**:

- radiography - midwifery - nursing - science - health science

2. complete a postgraduate certificate or a postgraduate diploma in medical or clinical ultrasound, recognised by the Consortium for the Accreditation of Sonographic Education (CASE).

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing 3D and 4D natal scans.

4. Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and related technologies.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain procedures and findings effectively.

6. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

7. Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate scan images.

8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.

9. Adherence to ethical standards and patient confidentiality.

**Preferred Skills**:
1. Experience with advanced 3D/4D imaging software.

2. Familiarity with NHS practices and protocols.

Pay: £40.00-£50.00 per hour
