Dance Leader

No formal dance qualifications are necessary, but we do require our Dance Leaders to have a good sense of rhythm and the ability to improvise dance moves, call out and demonstrate simple dance steps, and use our extensive range of dance props and materials to create a fun and interactive atmosphere. Our dance classes cater to a range of age groups, from toddlers and pre-schoolers to primary school students, special education students, and even adults with additional needs.

As a Dance Leader, you'll need to have a lively personality and the ability to engage and entertain children from the front of the class and from a stage, You definately need to be comfortable in the spotlight and using a microphone. You'll need to be able to warm up a crowd of four-year-olds and get everyone up and dancing, without feeling anxious or self-conscious. You'll also need to be able to understand and appreciate the special bond between parents and their children, and demonstrate this in your interactions with each child you meet in your role.

We'll provide full training for the job, including guidance on how to make sure children's birthday parties are fantastic. Working at festivals and events You'll even get to wear costumes, which is great fun

As a Dance Leader, you'll be helping children stay active and promoting the benefits of dance and exercise. You'll enjoy working in a variety of settings, from indoor playgroups to outdoor activities. Although no formal teaching qualifications are required, you'll need to have a natural aptitude for teaching young children.

A valid driver's license and access to a car are essential, as you'll be required to travel to different locations. You'll also need a mobile phone with Bluetooth capability and the Spotify app downloaded, as well as being familiar with Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp, which we'll use to communicate with you about work opportunities, future plans, meetings, and updates.
