Head Housekeeper Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role within an expanding, industry leading Company within Pembrokeshire.

This job description outlines the expectations and standards that you will be required to meet in order to carry out this role.

This role covers a diverse range of Housekeeping duties within Pembrokeshire. General hours of work between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday (working 5 out of 7 days).

General Housekeeping Duties to include:

- Dusting furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/baths, sinks and work surfaces
- Ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen area
- Stripping and making beds, filling out laundry paperwork in line with company procedures
- Cleaning and buffing all mirrors, chromes and glass surfaces, including interior windows
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs, including skirting boards and upholstery
- Mopping, Steaming or polishing of hard floors
- Emptying and disposal of rubbish in accordance with the requirements of the account.
- Using company supplied chemicals in a responsible and safe manner in accordance to company guidelines and restrictions
- Reporting any damage or repairs to your area head housekeeper
- Completion of housekeeping paperwork, shift management and timesheets after each shift

You will be required to use and operate basic cleaning tools, including (but not exclusive to) a vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket, carpet cleaner etc.

As a Head Housekeeper, we require good time management skills and the ability to work within the parameters, as set out by our Company standards. Good numeracy/literacy skills would be desirable due to completion of internal paperwork and the carrying out of audits and checks, where appropriate.

It is essential that you hold a full clean UK driving license and have use of your own car, where appropriate. You will be working within your geographical area however, if work takes you out of your area, in certain circumstances a Company vehicle could be made available or mileage can be discussed and arranged.

Due to the Company insurance, to use a Company vehicle you must be over the age of 25.

Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
