We have an excellent opportunity to join us as a Estate Patrol Officer at our client site based in London. This role will be wholly responsible for the day-to-day security of the public realm at the site including the service roads, loading bay areas, open spaces like plazas and public areas. To maintain the day to day-operational security requirements of the public realm in line with customer and contractual expectations. To ensure service delivery and prompt response to all requirements, incidents, and the maintaining of security within your area of influence. You will provide a welcoming role, helping and signposting staff, colleagues, and visitors alike at all times.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Assist, support, welcome and host anyone at Broadgate
- Your patrol posture must be welcoming, effective, determine and confident so as to deter crime and protect
- Manage public realm security
- Use Tracktic and Fulcrum systems to report incidents, record patrols and read instructions and security updates
- Ensure that all visitors feel welcome
- Always remain well informed
- All incidents are reported and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures as appropriate to the rank of Security Officer.
- Ensure that all incidents are responded to as directed by the Area Supervisor and in accordance with policy and procedures.
- To routinely check on all requirements on the patrol route recording visits and observations on tracktik. The tasks are important and must be completed

**Essential skills**
- Proven negotiation, listening, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience of working in a retail or public space environment and able to engage with people of all kinds
- You need to make everyone feel safe and provide added value through you concierge/ambassadorial skills
- Experience in dealing with multiple issues at once, prioritising and resolving problems for people
- The ability to communicate with the public, subordinates, colleagues, clients, contractors, and management in the appropriate manner
- The ability to effectively deal with incidents with demonstrable resilience and self-control
- Excellent customer engagement skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail, timekeeping, and ability to prioritise time effectively
- An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear reports both verbally and written
- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance
- Excellent customer service skills
- SIA - DS licence
