**Senior Jeweller / Production Supervisor**

We are a new luxury goods start-up looking for a dynamic individual to help establish a new jewellery production workshop at our premises near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious skilled craftsperson to play a key role in the launch a new contemporary jewellery brand & make a real contribution to the overall success of the business. There is also the career progression opportunity to move into a broader production management role, including other high-end craft production processes as well as Jewellery.

**Duties**:
1. Help establish and refine standard working practices & systems for a new jewellery making workshop.

2. Directly undertake production work personally to start and then oversee & train new staff members, as the team grows. Duties will include:

- Casting, wax modelling / wax tree building.

Fettling, cleaning & polishing.

Gold & Rhodium Plating.

Soldering & Laser Welding.

Stone Setting

3D printing.

3. Ensure all Health & safety and Quality Assurance procedures are followed including completion of associated documentation.

4. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the production plan, and oversee other workshop staff to deliver on time to agreed quality standards.

**Requirements**:
1. 3 yrs experience as a Senior Jeweller in a production workshop, with working knowledge of silver, Gold & Platinum.

2. Relevant Jewellery qualification covering all practical aspects of jewellery making.

3. Can-do attitude, with proven ability to problem solve, and a desire to constantly learn & improve.

4. Real team player with ability to lead, inspire & mentor a new small team.

5. Exceptional attention to detail with a genuine passion for craft.

6. Additional craft skills outside of jewellery making, e.g. ceramics, painting, gilding & woodwork etc. would be useful.

7. Must have good colour vision, English skills & numeracy.

8. Experience of 3D Printing & relevant IT skills is advantageous, but training will be provided.

**Starting Salary:

£30-40K, dependent on experience with relocation allowance available if required.

**Standard Hours **:
- 37.5 hours Monday -Friday, with occasional unpaid overtime as required to meet production needs.

20 days + Birthday, + statutory holidays, with an additional day holiday for every 2 years of service.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
