Are you a qualified primary school teacher? Are you available for work as soon as possible?

Empowering Learning are working alongside a school in the Long Eaton area who are looking to appoint a SATS intervention teacher to work on a fixed term 3 month contract. The role would begin immediately and the hours of work would be 8:30-3:30. The roleis full time.

**The main duties within this role are**:

- Leading academic interventions with all children in year 2 and year 6
- Differentiating sessions to meet a range of needs
- Filling in the gaps in children's learning
- Liaising with the class teacher around progress of the pupils
- Supporting the teaching and learning in maths and English
- Inspiring pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes

**The school are looking for someone who**:

- Has at least one years experience working in a primary school
- Holds qualified teacher status
- Has an understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
- Can be an excellent team player
- Will communicate effectively and liaise with the class teacher
- Has a previous track record of raising pupil attainment
