Senior Procurement Coordinator required for a design and manufacturer of bearing technologies based in Lincoln. Working within a mainly aerospace manufacturing environment, as part of a small team with a shared responsibility for a combined annual spendof £21,000,000.

Working to source suppliers and develop new and existing relationships to negotiate to purchase of goods, materials and services. Also supporting the Head of Procurement by coordinating the day to day management of all procurement activities whilst workingto the parameters of budgetary requirement and operational requirements.

**Senior Procurement CoordiantorPosition Overview**
- Develop and maintain supplier relationship and evaluation process in line with purchasing policies
- Work closely with stakeholders to support sourcing new and alternative raw materials
- Create and implement best purchasing strategies, policies and procedures to improve performance
- Ensure strategies align with business objectives and operational needs in relation to price, quality ad delivery targets to enable to company to be competitive with in the market.
- Contribute to business strategy and annual 'Business Confirmation' process
- Develop creative and innovative procurement processes (eProcurement)
- Full responsibility for managing supplier relationships and performance
- Support contract negotiation with key suppliers
- Assist in negotiation strategy creation and closing deals with optimal terms
- Forecasting prices and market trends
- Support the Head of Procurement with preparing Annual Forecasts and Budgets
- Review strategies and technology used to ensure implementation of environmentally friendly policies where possible

**Senior Procurement CoordiantorPosition Requirements**
- Member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)(Desirable)
- Demonstrable experience of working within a purchasing function (Desirable)
- Knowledge and technical understanding of aerospace processes and components and supply chain management (Desirable)
- Excellent relationship management skills to manage key stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong and confident negotiator
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Commercially and financially astute
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
- Proven contract management and supplier experience
- Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level
- Computer literate, especially in Excel skills / Mapics XA or similar
- Awareness of environmental impacts and environmentally friendly approaches

**Senior Procurement CoordiantorPosition Remuneration**
- Salary: £28-£32k dependent on experience
- Day Shift
- 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 16:00pm, Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
