A unique opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Paraplanner to join a highly successful specialist Practice who are an Appointed Representative of St. James Place Plc
You will be managing the planning and review process for around just 60 High Net Worth private and corporate clients including SME business owners, professional sportspeople and exiting business owners, ensuring the support provided both externally and internallyis of and to the highest level.
You will also be contributing to overseeing the investment approach for the existing portfolio of £130m of FUM, and the expected £20m - £30m additional annual investments.

**The Role: Paraplanner Manager**
- You will manage and lead a client focused, motivated team of support staff and implement and manage service standards within the team
- You will be very comfortable in a client facing role, and have the ability to communicate effectively with Accountants, Lawyers, Private Equity firms and other professional parties
- Using your thorough understanding of the sales process, suitability letter requirements, internal pre-approval process and the regulatory requirements imposed by the FCA, you will lead from the front and ensure these are also reflected by the admin supportteam.
- You have the ability to think laterally, challenge current process, and find ways to improve the service
- You will assist in conducting research and producing client facing reports to facilitate holistic advice opportunities
- This could include analysing clients’ existing planning and portfolios, undertaking calculations, producing strategy reports, cashflow/Voyant models and highly focused suitability reports
- You will develop good working relationships with product providers and provide timely and useful MI to various areas of the business, as well as participating in appropriate company and departmental training, competence, and development initiatives

**The Person: Paraplanner Manager**

This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, IT proficient and professional Chartered Paraplanner.
- You will have an excellent track record as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management business with broad technical experience.
- With an engaging manner, and excellent people skills, you will be capable of leading a team and building relationships internally and with Clients and third parties
- You have DipPFS and Chartered Status
- You will have a solid understanding and interest in the markets, funds, and investments
