My client is looking for a talented Quality Engineer to be a part of a wider team. Your role will be to
help the company process quality working closely with manufacturing teams on world class identity
verification systems enabling individuals to gain access freely to where they want to go and achieve
what they want to do.

Quality Engineer - Duties and Responsibilities.

? Management support of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
? Conduct Audits and ensure the Company and its staff follow laid down procedures
which comply with ISO9001 requirements.
? Raise the general level of quality awareness within the company and make frequent
patrols of the production lines.
? Measure, compile, analyze and report internal & external quality metrics.
? Drive cost of poor quality improvements
? Comprehensive COPQ metrics including scrap, warranty and other related
quality costs to be used as the basis for driving internal manufacturing process
and product improvements. Focus is not solely on costs of failing products but
other customer concerns as well.
? Work with stakeholders to implement product/process improvements that
reduce the number of DMR’s being raised through production and the supply
chain.
? Work with stakeholders to implement product/process improvements that
reduce the number of RMA’s returned from the field

? Lead triage and escalation of emerging product quality issues to resolution.
? Control non-conforming product in accordance with specification and manage
corrective and preventative actions completion and verify effectiveness.
? Manage corrective action requests (CAR’s) for external & internal product and process
quality issues.
? Conduct / facilitate root cause and failure analysis of returned product as necessary.
? Facilitate FMEA meetings with a cross-functional team to ensure quality is built into
new products & processes.
? Supervise the Inspector(s) day to day activities.
? Prepare and present quality information to management, suppliers and customers as
required.

Quality Engineer - Education and/or Experience
? Degree in a related field is preferred.
? 3 years of experience in production/ quality engineering, ideally in an electronic assembly
environment.
? Knowledge of Mastercard Global Terminal Quality Management (TQM) program would
be beneficial.

? Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
? Demonstrated time management, communication, presentation, and organization
skills.
? Must have the ability to work with various cultures in a global team.
? Must be able to make effective and independent business decisions.
? A solid understanding of quality system requirements and quality tools such as 8D,
Cause & Effect Diagram (fishbone), control plans, SPC, FMEA and demonstrated
analytical skills to use the data driven approach to solve customer quality issues.
? Understanding and proven work experience with quality, lean and waste elimination
processes and tools ensuring continuous improvement.
? Ability to work with mínimal supervision, multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Computer Skills & Customer Expectations
? Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
? Highlight knowledge, skills, abilities and traits necessary in this role to satisfy our
customer's expectations.
? Good listening skills and ability to diplomatically deal with difficult customer, supplier and
cross functional situations to achieve desired business results.
Work Requirements
? Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employees must
possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
