**Salary: £24,000 - £32,000 per annum**
Our client is a Bedford based Event Production and Audio-Visual Hire company, providing high quality technical solutions to the live events industry. Their clients rely on them to deliver bespoke production solutions to a wide range of prestigious live eventsacross the UK & Europe.
They have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Audio Visual Production Technician / Engineer based from their new Bedford warehouse. They are open to speaking to individuals with a range of experience from new techniciansto senior technicians. The role will involve deploying and operating audio and video systems for a wide range of live events. You’ll be able to demonstrate experience of installing, troubleshooting and operating audio/video systems for live events. A workingknowledge of audio visual, control, rigging, structure, set, power, data and other systems is vital. Experience with Yamaha digital consoles, Avolites Lighting Systems and Microsoft Powerpoint would be beneficial.

Responsibilities of the role:
- To support the Warehouse Team with its day-to-day operations, Preparing equipment thoroughly and efficiently, loading and unloading vehicles, repairing and maintaining equipment where required
- To install and operate a range of Audio-Visual equipment independently or as part of a team.
- Driving work vehicles to deliver a variety of projects across the UK
Experience required:
- At least 1-years’ experience working as a Warehouse Technician for an Audio-Visual Production Company
- At least 1-years’ experience working as an Audio-Visual Technician or equivalent.
- A rudimentary/working understanding of all the technical aspects of small to medium corporate conferencing.
- Experience being a point of contact for clients, delivering an excellent service when meeting challenging demands
- Experience working flexibly within a small collaborative team to fulfil the demands of the business preferred
Due to the nature of the live events industry working hours will be flexible and will include evening and weekend work on occasion. Occasionally you may also be required to work on site. A full driving license and a willingness to drive company vehicleswill be extremely beneficial.
