**Job Vacancy: Year 6 Teaching Assistant**

**Contract**: Part-Time (Wednesday to Friday)

**Working Hours**: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

We are excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team located in North Sheffield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and developmental journey of our Year 6 students. This part-time position (Wednesday to Friday) offers a unique chance to work within a vibrant educational environment that values growth, collaboration, and student success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Year 6 class teacher to create an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Lead interventions for mathematics and English, catering to the specific needs of students to ensure their progress and achievement.
- Provide dedicated support to students during their transition to secondary school, fostering a smooth and confident progression.
- Deliver tailored assistance to individuals and small groups in line with the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, enhancing their understanding and proficiency.
- Maintain a supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and attentive participation.

**Requirements**:

- Possession of a Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 2 or above is essential.
- Proven experience in supporting English and mathematics within an upper Key Stage 2 setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A passion for education, a nurturing demeanour, and a commitment to student welfare.
- Reliable and punctual, ensuring consistent attendance during the specified working hours.
