We are currently seeking a Technical Administrative Assistant with a strong background in customer service and an interest in IT/Technology to join our team.
Training and development opportunities will be provided as part of the role, allowing you to learn new technical concepts and skills.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ordering equipment and managing warranties
- Coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Maintaining accurate records of orders, invoices, and purchase orders
- Organising and coordinating meetings, taking and distributing meeting minutes, and preparing reports
- Providing first line support, responding to technical inquiries and escalating issues to the appropriate department if fixes are not within remit
- Updating and maintaining internal systems, including databases, inventory, and stock levels
- Updating customers on progress of support tickets
- Liaising with engineers/technicians, prompting and checking for updates, dispatching work, re-scheduling where necessary and contacting the field team as necessary
- 2 years of experience in customer service or administrative role
- Interest in IT or willingness to learn technical concepts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with helpdesk software/ticketing
